Pollinators

Why attract pollinators?  Of course there is the obvious reason of seeing butterflies & hummingbirds bounce around the garden, but if you are growing any fruit or vegetables, the more pollinators, the more fruit to eat!

Here are some plants to attract bees to your garden: Monarda (Bee balm), Honeysuckle, Sunflower, Cosmos, Coneflower, Dahlia, Butterfly Bush, Cranesbill Geranium, Clematis, Snapdragon, fragrant Roses, Phlox, Poppy, Lavender, Catmint, Bidens (pictured below New Painted Red Bidens).
Reminder: We don’t use any neonicotinoids or chemicals that will mess with the pollinators in your yard.  If you’d like to read more about pollinators for our area, check out Pollinator Partnership.
