We know the great weather the past month has us all crazy to get into the garden, but snow & frost a couple of weeks ago is a reminder that we live in Minnesota, where anything goes. Our last frost date is May 15, so hopefully we are safe for most things to go out now.
Safe at 30’F – cool annuals like Pansy & Petunias, Perennials & cold veggies (broccoli, onions, potatoes)
50’F – Geraniums, Coleus, Impatiens and most annuals, Tomatoes, Basil & most other veggies
60’F – Sweet Potatoes & Tropicals, like Mandevilleas, won’t grow until they get warm night temps
Pictured here is NEW Geisha Mix that loves the cooler temps right now & will still thrive during the summer.
