If you're like me, recipes that have a lot of steps or is time-consuming tend not to be made very often. But, pork ribs is one of those delicious meals that are well worth the time it takes.
Here is a tasty recipe. The ribs are tender and my family gobbles them up. The sauce tends to stick very nice to the ribs making a sticky, sweet delicious meal.
BBQ or Sweet & Sour Pork Ribs
3 lbs Pork & Plants Pork Ribs
Season with salt and pepper and roast in a shallow pan for 1 hour @ 325 degrees.
Cover with sauce and bake 1 hour more.
Sauce:
1/2 can crushed pineapple
1/2 cup catsup
1 Tbls. Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
Mustard
Here is a variation of the above recipe. I love the slow cooker! It makes recipes that are a little time consuming very easy.
Throw all the ingredients together in Slow cooker and turn on high for 4 hours or so. This makes a simple meal, so that you can get other things done and still serve your family a great home-cooked meal. It does make it fall apart and you have to scoop out the ribs with a ladle but still yummy.
Give it a try and see how easy it is to make delicious ribs. Let me know which way you like better, Oven vs. Slow cooker.
